HOPTRANS history

30+ years of crafting The Art of Logistics.

Each stage of growth was more than business expansion. It was an investment in people, fleet, technology and operational expertise, which today allows us to ensure reliable logistics throughout Europe.

1993

Founded

UAB HOPTRANSA was founded. We started our operations with a team of two people and became the first DFDS East transport partner in Lithuania.

2006

The beginning of multimodal logistics

We became the first Lithuanian logistics company to offer customers integrated road, rail, sea and air transport solutions.

2008

Market recognition

Named Lithuania's Carrier of the Year.

2013

Leadership in railway logistics

Named Railway Operator of the Year.

2015

Investment in the future

Opened a new HOPTRANS headquarters in Ramučiai, twice the size of the previous one — a step that allowed us to grow our team and operational capabilities even faster.

2016

European expansion

The team grew to over 1,000 employees, and new sales offices across Europe strengthened our presence in key markets.

2020

Efficiency as a standard

We continued to expand our international network by opening offices in Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom. At the same time, we began implementing LEAN methodology to achieve even greater operational efficiency.

2026

New space for growth

Opened a new HOPTRANS office at the SAND Offices business center in Vilnius. The modern workspace is designed for collaboration, new ideas, and further team growth.

Today

HOPTRANS has 2,500 employees and operates a fleet of more than 1,500 company-owned trucks.
